What is polymer clay?

Polymer clay is a versatile kind of modelling clay that can be hardened by baking in the oven but retains its shape and colour. It is extremely lightweight, unlike natural clay, and is slightly bendy and won’t shatter if dropped. It is very durable and easy to care for. Most of our products are finished with a coat of clear UV resin which is extremely hard once cured and will prolong the life of your jewellery.

I have sensitive ears and earrings Often make my ears hurt. Will your earrings do the same?

Our findings are made from high quality stainless steel which are lead and nickel free so should be suitable for everyone, even if you have sensitive ears. If you require sterling silver or a hypo-allergenic alternative, get in touch and we’ll do our best to help!

How should I care for my polymer clay jewellery?

Polymer clay and UV resin can be wiped clean with mild soap and water or gently cleaned with cotton buds and nail polish remover to clean dirt or wipe off fingerprints. They are very durable and sturdy but we would recommend you avoid harsh chemicals and treat them with care to ensure they last a long time. As with other jewellery, it’s best not to sleep, shower or exercise while wearing them. Humid conditions may tarnish the findings over time. They can be restored using a polishing cloth. Brass findings can be restored if cleaned with ketchup 🙂

Where do you ship to?

At the moment, we ship to Ghana and to the UK (please use paystack.shop/the-quartz-collection for all UK orders). If you live in a different country, contact us to find out whether we can ship to you. We are working on shipping wider across Africa and to the US and Canada.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Ghana: We aim to ship all orders within 2 days so you should receive it within 7 days. We ship via GhanaPost/EMS at a flat rate of GH₵40 anywhere in Ghana. We offer free shipping for all orders of GH₵400 or more.

UK: We aim to deliver your items within 3-4 weeks. Rushed orders may be possible in a shorter timeframe. Please contact us to enquire.

Do you take custom orders?

Do you accept Returns or Exchanges?

For hygiene reasons, we don’t accept returns or exchanges. We take a lot of effort to make our jewellery with quality materials and we expect that you will enjoy them for years to come. How does your payment method work?

We use Paystack to process all payments to make it easier for you to pay from your Mobile Money account or with a credit or debit card.
